Responsibilities
- To perform laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations.
- To prepare specimens, samples and reagents.
- To operate and ensure regular maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- To participate in equipment validations, calibrations, quality controls and assessment.
- To ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced.
- To promptly and accurately record laboratory results and present to pathologist for approval.
- To ensure safety of all data records and generated in the laboratory.
- To keep up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability.
- To ensure and adhere to standard laboratory safety measures and checks.
- Involved with scientific meetings in the department and any other duty that may be assigned to you.
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with experience.
