Mechanical Technician at TAG Energy Nigeria Limited

About the Role

TAG Energy, an integrated service company offering a comprehensive range of oilfield products and support services in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician for a marine oil and gas client located in Onne FTZ (Port Harcourt).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance, testing, and calibration of Pressure Safety Valves (PSVs)
• Maintain mechanical operations, standards, and controls at high quality levels
• Inspect equipment and operating systems, making necessary corrections
• Diagnose and resolve issues with motors, valves, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic systems
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians
• Operate heavy industrial equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, basket trucks, and bobcats
• Ensure compliance with company and customer regulations and policies

Required Qualifications

• HND or B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanical technician
