About the Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician for a pad manufacturing company. This is a hands-on position requiring expertise in mechanical systems, fabrication, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints for mechanical systems to determine component specifications
• Construct structural components from raw materials
• Use welding equipment to fuse structural components
• Inspect fabricated components to ensure correct sizing and quality
• Utilize shears, power saws, cutting torches, and chipper knives to cut structural components as needed
• Create and maintain suitable maintenance schedules for systems
• Conduct diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems to identify root causes
• Replace damaged or defective structural components
• Adhere to all work-site safety rules and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum OND or Tradetest in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
