## Title: Mechanical Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. The Mechanical Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all mechanical maintenance activities within the flexible packaging plant. This role ensures the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment and utilities through effective preventive and corrective maintenance, resource management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Management

Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all production and utility equipment (extruders, printing machines, laminators, slitters, compressors, chillers, etc.)
Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize machine availability
Ensure all breakdowns are attended to promptly with root cause analysis and corrective action plans

Equipment Reliability & Performance

Monitor mechanical equipment performance and ensure optimal operation efficiency
Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing machine downtime and maintenance costs
Maintain detailed maintenance records, logs, and reports for performance tracking

Team Leadership & Development

Supervise mechanical engineers, technicians, and artisans, ensuring proper skill utilization and motivation
Conduct regular technical training and skill development sessions for maintenance personnel
Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company maintenance standards

Spare Parts & Inventory Control

Plan and monitor the availability of critical mechanical spares and consumables
Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely replenishment and cost control

Projects & Installation

Oversee mechanical aspects of new equipment installation and commissioning
