About the Role
Fort Knox Outsourcing is seeking a highly competent Mechanical Engineer (Level 4) to lead project design, coordination, and technical oversight. The ideal candidate will manage large-scale mechanical projects, provide design validation, and mentor engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and execution of complex engineering projects
- Oversee preparation of design reports, calculations, and material submittals
- Supervise and guide junior engineers and technicians
- Conduct technical reviews and ensure adherence to standards and specifications
- Support procurement and contractor management for mechanical systems
- Prepare inspection reports, material take-offs, and as-built documentation
Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities
- Drive compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards
- Promote safe working practices and ensure proper PPE usage
- Investigate and report safety incidents and corrective actions
- Encourage environmental sustainability on projects
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 7–10 years of mechanical engineering and project management experience
- COREN or equivalent certification
Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional leadership and coordination skills
- Excellent analytical and decision-making ability
- Strong technical and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Technical Requirements
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and mechanical simulation tools
- Advanced understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of local and international mechanical codes
