About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer (Level 3) to join our project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical installations, preparing workshop and as-built drawings, and developing operational and maintenance manuals. This role requires strong technical expertise, site supervision skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with contractors and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee mechanical installations and systems
- Interface effectively with building contractors and sub-contractors
- Report project variations and site instructions to the Project Manager
- Conduct short-term procurement planning and raise material requests
- Supervise site workers and assign tasks efficiently
- Interpret and set out systems from technical drawings
- Prepare material take-offs, shop drawings, and technical reports
- Attend technical and coordination meetings and document minutes
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
- Promote energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental awareness
Skills & Abilities
- Strong leadership and people management skills

- Effective communication and time management
- Ability to meet tight project deadlines
Knowledge & Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
- Solid understanding of engineering drawings and measurements
- Good knowledge of plumbing and fire systems standards and installation practices
- Familiarity with project management principles and construction supervision
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all HSE rules and company procedures
- Promote a positive health and safety culture across teams
- Participate in incident investigations and emergency preparedness activities
Compensation
Salary: 407,000
