About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Mathematics Educator to join our expanding team at Aaresther Divine Schools in Lagos. You will play a key role in shaping young learners' mathematical understanding and fostering a passion for learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging, informative lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
• Implement a comprehensive curriculum aligned with state and national standards
• Administer lessons using a variety of instructional techniques and technology to support student learning
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to school leadership
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance
• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and fosters a love of learning
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on educational best practices and trends

Required Qualifications

• NCE or Bachelor's degree
• Experience teaching in a primary or secondary school setting
• Strong understanding of primary or secondary school curriculum and instructional best practices
