Marketing Manager / Business Development Executive

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager / Business Development Executive with strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and implement effective marketing and business strategies that improve brand visibility, increase revenue, and expand market presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic marketing and business development plans to achieve company goals
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets for expansion
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, trends, and competitor activities
• Generate leads and convert prospects into paying clients through effective negotiation and relationship management
• Oversee marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels to enhance brand awareness
• Create and manage business proposals, presentations, pitches, and reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, product) to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and business initiatives to ensure optimal ROI
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and strategic partners
• Represent the company at meetings, industry events, and networking activities
• Supervise and mentor junior marketing or sales team members where applicable

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Master's degree is an added advantage)
• Minimum of 5 years post-NYSC experience in Marketing, Business Development, Sales, or a related field
• Minimum of 26 years of age
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing and business strategies
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills
