About the Role

Isglo Hotels Limited seeks a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Officer to ensure the safe operation and upkeep of our facilities in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety and hazard identification inspections throughout facilities
• Check and maintain safety equipment including fire alarms, extinguishers, and smoke detectors
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, schedules, reports, and equipment registers
• Liaise with and oversee external contractors to ensure work is completed to standard, on time, and within budget
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, and facility conditions to management
• Identify and address potential maintenance issues proactively to prevent breakdowns
• Perform general repairs including carpentry, AC installation, plumbing, painting, and plastering
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment, grounds, and facilities
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant maintenance experience
• Relevant qualifications in maintenance or related field
