About the Role

A leading rice milling and processing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and reliability of their state-of-the-art facility. The Maintenance Manager ensures that all machinery and equipment run efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime to keep the plant running smoothly and reliably while maintaining production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all maintenance activities across the rice milling plant
• Plan and lead reactive, preventive, and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime
• Monitor equipment performance to prevent breakdowns
• Ensure spare parts availability and proper inventory management
• Ensure the smooth operation of milling, drying, and processing equipment
• Manage and mentor the maintenance team for optimal performance
• Implement safety and compliance standards for machines and facilities
• Reduce operational costs by extending equipment life and improving efficiency
• Supervise technicians and contractors handling repairs or installations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a rice milling and processing plant
• Strong knowledge of milling machinery, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
