About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team in a Loan Processing Officer position.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process loan applications
• Conduct preliminary assessment of applicants' creditworthiness
• Verify customer information, documentation, and eligibility
• Prepare loan files and forward to credit and approval committees
• Liaise with customers to resolve documentation or compliance issues
• Ensure timely loan disbursement and proper record-keeping
• Generate reports on loan applications, approvals, and disbursements
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards

Requirements

• HND qualification or B.Sc. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Maximum of 2 years' experience in loan processing, credit analysis, or banking operations
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good knowledge of credit policies, lending procedures, and regulatory guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan management software
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work with deadlines and handle confidential information
