Job Summary

The Loading Bay Supervisor will oversee all activities related to receiving raw rubber harvest (cup lumps) and dispatching rubber products. This role ensures that loading and unloading processes are executed safely, efficiently, and accurately. The Supervisor will manage a team of loaders and equipment operators, enforcing strict adherence to quality control standards, accurate weighing, and proper documentation.

Operations & Logistics Management

• Coordinate traffic flow and manage the movement of trucks and tractors entering and exiting the bay
• Schedule loading and unloading operations based on production demands and transporter availability
• Oversee equipment operations and ensure weighing scales are operational and safety-checked daily
• Monitor and minimize waiting time for external trucks and internal harvest tractors to ensure operational efficiency

Quality Control & Inspection

• Conduct visual inspections of incoming raw rubber to identify and prevent contamination that could compromise rubber quality
• Supervise weighing scale operations to ensure precise recording of incoming harvest and outgoing product weights

Inventory & Documentation

• Maintain accurate daily logs of all incoming and outgoing stock, including tonnage, vehicle numbers, and driver names
• Verify that all freight documents (waybills and delivery notes) match the physical vehicle loads for both incoming harvest and outgoing sales
• Input data into the plantation's inventory management system
• Assist the inventory team with weekly or monthly stock reconciliation and counts

Health, Safety, & Team Leadership

• Supervise, train, and manage the loading bay crew roster
• Enforce strict safety protocols and procedures within the loading bay
