Position Overview

This is a full-time role based in Lagos. The Legal Officer will provide comprehensive legal support to the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while managing legal risks and supporting corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to the company on various matters
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Draft and review legal documents
• Represent the company in legal matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Manage legal risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Provide guidance on corporate governance matters
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure legal requirements are met

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
• Relevant legal qualifications
• Legal expertise in corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple legal matters and work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Membership in a professional legal body or bar association
• Prior experience in the real estate or infrastructure sectors
