Legal and Compliance Analyst at FCSL Asset Management Company

About the Role

FCSL Asset Management Company is seeking a qualified Legal and Compliance Analyst to provide comprehensive legal and compliance support to the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory support to the company and management on all matters
• Conduct thorough legal research on various legal matters, including statutes, regulations, case law, and legal precedents
• Analyze and interpret legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court rulings
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Assist in developing and implementing compliance programs and policies
• Maintain and update legal files and databases
• Manage schedules, appointments, and deadlines for the legal team
• Advise on the interpretation of laws and regulations, monitoring amendments and updating management on implications
• Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts
• Assist in reviewing offering and investment memoranda
• Monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly
• Prepare periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) as required or delegated

Educational & Professional Qualifications

• BL or LLB degree
• 4–5 years of experience in commercial law firms or in-house financial services

• Legal drafting and contract negotiation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Decisiveness and ability to work with minimal supervision
