Requirements

Educational Qualification (Choose One Path):

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree with three (3) years of experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II, plus:
  • Minimum twenty-five (25) admissible publication points
  • Minimum forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
  • Minimum five (5) publications
• Master's Degree with three (3) years of experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II, plus:
  • Minimum thirty (30) admissible publication points
  • Minimum five (5) citations
  • Minimum forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
  • Minimum six (6) publications

Professional Requirements

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• Visible research profile on Google Scholar or ResearchGate
• Minimum five (5) citations on selected platforms

Additional Information

First-time appointees to teaching positions at the University may not exceed the rank of Lecturer I upon entry.
