Position Overview

Federal University Oye-Ekiti is expanding its dynamic team and seeking qualified talent to join the Department of Soil Science and Land Resources Management within the Faculty of Agriculture.

Qualifications Required

For Ph.D. Holders:

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification
• Minimum three (3) years of service as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points
• Minimum of five (5) publications
• Job Appraisal score of not less than forty-five (45) points

For Master's Degree Holders:

• Master's Degree qualification
• Minimum three (3) years of service as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than thirty (30) points
• Minimum of six (6) publications
• Citation index of not less than five (5)
• Job Appraisal score of not less than forty-five (45) points

Additional Requirements

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership or Administrative Responsibility
• Visible research profile on Google Scholar or Research Gate with citation record of not less than five (5)
• First-time appointees to the University must enter at no higher than the rank of Lecturer I
