Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Federal University Oye-Ekiti as a Lecturer I in Quantity Surveying.

Qualifications and Requirements

Academic Qualification:

• PhD or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, or Fellowship in Medicine (registered with MDCN or Veterinary Council of Nigeria)
• Alternatively, a Master's Degree with three years of experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II

Professional Experience and Publications:

• PhD holders: Minimum of three years as Lecturer II/Librarian II with admissible publications totaling not less than 25 points and 45 points in Job Appraisal
• Master's degree holders: Minimum of three years as Lecturer II/Librarian II with admissible publications totaling not less than 30 points, citation of not less than 5, and 45 points in Job Appraisal
• Minimum of five (5) publications for PhD holders or six (6) publications for Master's degree holders

Professional Requirements:

• Up-to-date membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation of not less than 5
• Minimum of two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
