## Title: Lecturer I in Psychology Medicine / Psychiatry

Position Overview

State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS) is seeking a qualified Lecturer I to join the Department of Psychology Medicine / Psychiatry.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. or Master's Degree in a relevant field, OR Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Relevant teaching experience in a Degree-awarding Institution:
- Minimum 3 years for Ph.D. Degree holders
- Minimum 5 years for M.Sc. Degree holders

Academic Requirements

Minimum of 4 publications in reputable national and international journals
First authorship or corresponding authorship in at least 2 of the published journal articles
