Federal University Oye-Ekiti seeks a qualified candidate to fill the position of Lecturer I in Private Law.

Key Requirements

Candidates must meet ONE of the following qualification pathways:

Pathway 1: Ph.D. Holders

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification
• Minimum three (3) years experience at Lecturer II/Librarian II level
• Admissible publications totaling not less than Twenty-five (25) points
• Job Appraisal score of not less than Forty-five (45) points
• Minimum of five (5) publications

Pathway 2: Ph.D. in Specialized Fields

• Ph.D. in Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, or Veterinary Medicine; OR Fellowship in Medicine
• Registration with MDCN (Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria) or Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN)

Pathway 3: Master's Degree Holders

• Master's Degree qualification
• Minimum three (3) years experience at Lecturer II/Librarian II level
• Admissible publications totaling not less than Thirty (30) points
• Citation index of not less than five (5)
• Job Appraisal score of not less than Forty-five (45) points
• Minimum of six (6) publications

Additional Requirements

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation index of not less than five (5)

Entry Level

Successful applicants taking up a teaching appointment at the University for the first time may enter at a maximum rank of Lecturer I.
