Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification, OR
• Master's Degree

Experience and Promotion Criteria

Applicants must meet one of the following pathways:

• Ph.D. Holders: Minimum three (3) years at Lecturer II rank with admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points and forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal, with minimum of five (5) publications
• Master's Degree Holders: Minimum three (3) years at Lecturer II rank with admissible publications totaling not less than thirty (30) points, citation not less than five (5), and forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal, with minimum of six (6) publications
• First-Time Appointees: Candidates taking up teaching appointment at the University for the first time may enter at a maximum rank of Lecturer I

Professional Requirements

• Up-to-date membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with minimum citation count of five (5)
• Minimum publication record as specified in qualification pathway above
