## Title: Lecturer I in Ophthalmology & Otorhinolaryngology

About the Position

State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS) is seeking a qualified Lecturer I to join the Department of Ophthalmology & Otorhinolaryngology. This is an academic position based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. or Master's Degree in Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, or a related field
Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Relevant teaching experience in a degree-awarding institution:
- Minimum 3 years for Ph.D. degree holders
- Minimum 5 years for M.Sc. degree holders

Academic Requirements

Minimum of 4 publications in reputable national and international journals
First author or corresponding author on at least 2 of the published journal articles
