Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

Pathway 1: Ph.D. Holders

• Hold a Ph.D. or equivalent qualification
• Minimum three (3) years of experience at Lecturer II level
• Minimum twenty-five (25) points in admissible publications
• Minimum forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Minimum five (5) publications

Pathway 2: Master's Degree Holders

• Hold a Master's Degree
• Minimum three (3) years of experience at Lecturer II level
• Minimum thirty (30) points in admissible publications
• Minimum five (5) citations
• Minimum forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Minimum six (6) publications

Additional Requirements

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or Research Gate with minimum five (5) citations
• First-time appointees to the University may enter at a maximum rank of Lecturer I
