## Title: Lead, Human Resources (HR Manager)

Our client is a youth-led social enterprise advocating against sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). The organization provides prevention mechanisms and psychosocial support services to survivors, adopting a comprehensive approach to advancing gender equality and eliminating gender-based violence in Nigeria. We are committed to operational excellence and efficient resource management.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Lead, Human Resources is responsible for cultivating a values-driven, inclusive, and effective work culture. This role provides strategic leadership in human resources, organisational culture, talent acquisition and retention, employee well-being, and daily operations. The position ensures that all internal systems align with the organization's core values of dignity, accountability, professionalism, and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead talent strategy including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, and performance management
  • Drive initiatives that foster organisational culture, psychological safety, and staff morale
  • Oversee effective HR policies, labor law compliance, compensation frameworks, and exit procedures
  • Implement practices that support diversity, equity, inclusion and equal opportunities across all teams
  • Ensure smooth daily operations including asset management, facilities, vendor relationships, logistics, and technology infrastructure
  • Supervise operations and develop staff capacity through mentorship and systems development
  • Work closely with the Executive Director to guide organisational development and workforce planning

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in HR Management, Organisational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) required
  • 5-7 years of progressive HR and operations experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
