About the Position

Isglo Hotels Limited is seeking a qualified Laundry Attendant to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation required in our hospitality operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process laundry by receiving, sorting, and washing soiled linens and garments
• Load and unload washers and dryers efficiently
• Inspect cleaned items for stains, damage, and cleanliness standards
• Press and fold items neatly according to specific hotel standards
• Apply appropriate stain treatments based on fabric type, following all chemical handling procedures
• Soak and scrub items as needed to achieve quality results
• Operate and monitor laundry machines, making necessary adjustments
• Perform daily maintenance tasks including wiping machines, emptying lint traps, and sweeping floors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the laundry area

Required Qualifications

• HND qualification
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in laundry operations

• Attention to detail for sorting, quality checks, and proper handling of items
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks
• Strong organizational skills to manage large volumes of laundry efficiently
• Proficiency in operating commercial washing machines, dryers, and ironers
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents and other solutions
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions
• Knowledge of different fabric types and their specific care instructions
