Laundry Attendant at Brilliant Performance Solutions Limited

Position Overview

Our client urgently requires the services of an experienced Laundry Attendant with a minimum of 4 years' experience in the role.

Accommodation

The position provides accommodation. Residing within Ogba, Agege, or other nearby vicinities will be an advantage.

Functional Responsibilities

• Sort all linen and separate and treat stains
• Load laundry into washer and add specified amounts of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents
• Lift clean, wet articles from washer and place them into dryers for measured time cycles
• Sort dried articles according to type
• Fold and place items in appropriate locations for storage
• Handle contaminated articles according to franchise standards and protocols
• Arrive to work on time and in proper uniform
• Organize and maintain laundry operations on a daily basis to meet demand in a timely manner
• Maintain daily and weekly records of clothing
• Wash, dry, and fold all linen using best standard practices
• Process stained linen and return to inventory
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order to maximize efficiency
• Report any maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Manager and complete maintenance forms
• Report any shortage of dry cleaning materials to the appropriate officer
• Maintain a clean and safe laundry area at all times
• Conduct daily cleaning of all laundry machines
• Provide weekly and monthly chemical inventory reports to the Housekeeping Manager
• Assist in monthly inventory counts including discarded items
• Complete any other assignments from management as required

Qualifications

• OND or FSLC qualification
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in laundry operations
