Junior Account Officer at EMEL

About the Role

Emel Hospitals Limited is seeking a dedicated Junior Account Officer to join our dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about maintaining accurate financial records while supporting the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes
• Assist in bank reconciliations and account monitoring
• Visit banks regularly to carry out financial transactions on behalf of the hospital
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the senior accountant

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical abilities

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Experience with accounting software

Compensation

Monthly salary: From ₦200,000
