About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our IT support team. You will provide technical assistance to our organization, ensuring systems run smoothly and employees have the support they need.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Respond to helpdesk tickets, phone calls, and emails in a timely manner
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot system and network problems
- Set up user accounts and manage access permissions
- Maintain IT documentation and asset inventory
- Perform routine system updates and backups
- Support remote users via remote desktop tools
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary
- Ensure security protocols and data protection policies are followed
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in IT support or technical helpdesk role
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common business software
- Basic understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications)
- Experience with ticketing systems
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Experience supporting remote or hybrid environments
