This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. Key Responsibilities: User Support & Training:
  • Provide first-level and second-level technical support to bank staff.
  • Create and manage employee profiles and login access for banking applications and mail servers.
  • Train staff on the use of banking software and computer applications.
  • Maintain and update error logs for system issues and resolutions.
Banking Application & System Operations:
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues related to banking applications and messaging systems.
  • Perform End-of-Day (EOD), End-of-Month (EOM), and End-of-Year (EOY) processing.
  • Manage the Bank’s SMS portal.
  • Conduct regular system monitoring to ensure optimal performance.
Data & Database Management:
  • Perform data backup and restoration procedures.
  • Administer databases using SQL, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure data integrity, availability, and security.
Network & Infrastructure Management:
  • Troubleshoot and manage the Bank’s Local Area Network (LAN).
  • Support networking and communication infrastructure, including LAN, IP phones, and related systems.
  • Manage hardware installations, maintenance, and repairs (printers, laptops, copiers, etc.).
Security & Compliance:
  • Manage and monitor security devices and systems.
  • Track and monitor the security of hardware and software systems, including malware and virus scans.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security standards.
Vendor & Asset Management:
  • Liaise with IT vendors, technicians, software providers, and Internet Service Providers (ISP).
  • Monitor, order, and distribute computer and IT supplies.
  • Maintain records of IT assets and licenses.
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare written documents such as internal memos, monthly subscription reports, letters, and meeting minutes.
  • Maintain and organize IT-related documents and files, including SLAs and receipts.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology or any related field.
Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of banking software and IT systems
  • Database administration (SQL)
  • Networking fundamentals (LAN, IP Phones)
  • Hardware and software maintenance
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work with vendors and service providers.
