Internal Control Officer at HT-Limited

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to join their team as an Internal Control Officer. You will be responsible for reviewing and appraising the soundness, effectiveness, and proper application of accounting and financial controls, compliance procedures, and documentation generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and appraise the effectiveness of accounting, financial controls, and compliance procedures
• Perform revenue assurance by ensuring daily reconciliation of sales with bank inflows
• Monitor effective usage of company assets in compliance with management policies and procedures
• Manage and control field force expenses to ensure value for money in all operational spending
• Build a strong compliance environment to ensure zero-level policy, procedure, and regulatory infractions
• Develop and communicate awareness of all policies and procedures to relevant staff; maintain zero tolerance for income leakages
• Conduct periodic stock-taking to reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor and eliminate wastages and leakages in administration and procurement transactions
• Ensure timely delivery of sanity checks and reports
• Identify business risks and develop preventive strategies
• Monitor consumptions against bill of materials to detect and eliminate shortages and pilferages

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc or HND in Accounting (A.C.A is an added advantage)
• 3–5 years of experience in the manufacturing, poultry, or FMCG industry
• Poultry farm experience required
• Strong analytical skills and high level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and perfect command of the English language

Candidate must be willing to work in Ogun or Lagos State, Nigeria.
