About the Internship

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join eHealth Systems Africa as an ICT Services Intern. This internship program is designed to promote employability by providing work experience to recent graduates and university students in career transition. It also aims to develop leadership competencies and promote the participation of women in decision-making roles in key development spaces.

Responsibilities

The intern will initiate, assist, report, monitor, and develop various initiatives, organize regular meetings, and facilitate knowledge exchange. You will reconcile theoretical experiences with practical processes by:

• Support System and Network Administrators with day-to-day support and maintenance of IT infrastructure
• Perform data gathering by researching, understanding, and collecting scientific data from eHealth Systems Africa data sources and external ICT-related sources
• Assist with daily troubleshooting support for IT equipment and devices
• Perform data entry into inventory management and data management systems
• Communicate findings and facilitate knowledge dissemination among interested parties
• Research new areas that can be addressed in business processes and product development
• Develop innovative, pragmatic, and simple solutions with elegant and documentable implementations, working both independently and as part of a team
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the head of department or line manager

• First Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
