About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as an Information Technology Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support and Maintenance

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals), operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS), and software applications
• Provide technical support to end-users (in-person, phone, email, or remote), resolving IT-related issues promptly and efficiently
• Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and network problems, escalating complex issues to higher-level support or external vendors when necessary
• Manage user accounts (creation, modification, deletion), access rights, and password resets

Network and Systems Management

• Monitor and maintain the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and related infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs)
• Perform routine system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability
• Manage and maintain servers, including virtualization and basic cloud services
• Install and implement upgrades and patches for operating systems and applications

Security and Compliance

• Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures (e.g., antivirus solutions)

Requirements

• Minimum B.Sc/HND qualification
• Minimum 1 year of IT experience
• Experience in the medical sector (hospital environment) is advantageous
