Summary

The ICT Officer will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and support of Mitera Health HMO's information and communication technology infrastructure and systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our health-tech platforms, data security, network stability, and providing technical support to all departments, including the core Mapp mobile application.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and networks
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all IT-related issues encountered by staff and internal systems
• Manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and security systems (firewalls, VPNs)
• Ensure data security and integrity, implementing and monitoring backup solutions, disaster recovery plans, and access controls
• Oversee the performance and availability of core health-tech systems, including the Mapp mobile application backend, Electronic Health Records (EHR) integrations, WooCommerce, and claims processing platforms
• Implement and manage software deployments, updates, and patches across the organization
• Monitor system performance and capacity, identifying and resolving bottlenecks
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., NDPR, local data protection laws) in all IT operations
• Assist in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new IT solutions and technologies to support business growth and efficiency
• Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and documentation of network configurations and processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in an IT support, system administration, or network administration role
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
