## Title: Human Resources Officer

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly and experienced Female Human Resources Officer to join our team in the Hospital & Health Care industry. As a Human Resources Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the human resources functions of our organization by ensuring effective recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment of clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
  • Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems
  • Track probation periods and performance reviews
  • Identify training needs and coordinate staff development programs
  • Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness
  • Handle employee grievances and escalate complex issues to the Hospital Administrator
  • Promote a positive work environment and staff engagement
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Support audits and inspections related to HR matters
  • Liaise with the finance department on payroll inputs
  • Administer employee benefits and leave management
  • Prepare monthly HR reports for management review
  • Track HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and training hours

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting
  • Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
