Job Summary
We are recruiting an HR Generalist on behalf of our client, a leading retailer of fast-moving consumer goods with 4 branches across strategic locations in Lagos State. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background and experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manpower Planning and Recruitment
- Reward and Recognition
- Administration of the Performance Management process
- Management of the Learning and Development process
- Employee Relations Management
- Employee Records Management and Exit Management
Required Qualifications and Experience
- BSc/HND or equivalent qualification
- 2 years' work experience as an HR Generalist
- Good customer service and customer-facing background in the FMCG Industry
- Good understanding of the retail business
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Required Attributes and Skills
- Professional certification in Human Resources (CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, etc.) — advantageous
- Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems — advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organised with strong planning abilities
- Trustworthy, discreet, and credible
- Strong coaching and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, collaborative, and persuasive approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to commute to and work from other branches as required
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly Salary: ₦300,000.00 (gross)
