Job Summary
The Human Resources Intern will support the Human Resources Team in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate meticulous attention to tasks. You will help ensure the HR Team is organized and operates smoothly to attract, hire, and retain the best team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Update company databases by inputting new employee contact information and employment details
- Screen potential employees' resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates for job vacancies
- Organize interviews with shortlisted candidates
- Post job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms
- Remove job advertisements from job boards and social media platforms once vacancies are filled
- Assist HR staff in gathering salary information
- Assist in the planning of company events
- Prepare and send offer and rejection letters or emails to candidates
- Respond to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations & Personnel Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or any related field
- At least six months to one year of proven experience in Human Resources Management, administrative assistance, or any relevant human resources/administrative position
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong administrative skills
- Proficient use of Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of labour legislation
- Reporting skills
