An established company is recruiting for the following position. Position Overview:
  • The HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Officer is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all employees and operations, as well as driving the company’s sustainability performance and ethical governance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive HSE policies and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to all local and national safety and environmental regulations for utility operations and construction sites
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations related to high-voltage equipment, confined spaces, and working at heights
  • Drive the integration of ESG principles across the business, tracking performance metrics related to carbon emissions, resource use, social impact, and corporate governance
  • Organize mandatory safety training and lead the preparation of external ESG/Sustainability reports for investors and stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related discipline
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent ESG certification)
Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience managing HSE programs, preferably in a utility, construction, or heavy industrial environment
