About the Role
A Human Resources Manager oversees all aspects of an organization's human resources functions, including recruitment, training, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. This role plays a crucial role in aligning HR practices with the organization's goals, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring the company attracts, motivates, and retains qualified employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating onboarding for new hires
- Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, mediate disputes, and handle disciplinary procedures
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs, performance management systems, and succession planning initiatives
- Compensation and Benefits: Develop and manage compensation strategies, administer employee benefits, and conduct salary reviews
- Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all relevant labor laws and regulations
- Policy Development: Create and implement HR policies related to employment, performance management, and other areas
- Strategic Planning: Work with top executives on strategic HR planning and align HR practices with the organization's overall objectives
- Performance Management: Oversee performance evaluations, provide feedback to employees, and address performance issues
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to improve employee morale and engagement
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 4–10 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM)
