About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Housekeeping Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality across guest rooms and public areas of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms and public areas, including dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and mopping floors
- Clean and sanitize washrooms and all fixtures to hotel standards
- Change linens and make beds according to hotel standards
- Replenish guest amenities such as toiletries and towels
- Keep public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms clean and tidy
- Professionally and warmly assist guests with requests and address concerns while maintaining their privacy and respect for their belongings
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Adhere to safety and sanitation standards to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Housekeeping Attendant, Room Attendant, Public Area Attendant, or Bedroom Steward in a luxury hotel
- High level of honesty, credibility, confidentiality, and discretion when interfacing with guests
- Must reside within Awoyaya, Bogije, Eleko Junction, and environs
