Hospital Housekeeper at Shawsand Medical Centre

About the Role

Shawsand Medical Centre is seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, wards, offices, and common areas
• Maintain high standards of hygiene in all hospital units, including bathrooms, hallways, and waiting areas
• Dispose of waste properly and follow infection control procedures
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages or damaged equipment
• Assist in laundry duties where required
• Ensure all cleaning tasks comply with hospital safety and sanitation standards
• Perform any other housekeeping duties assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of School Certificate (SSCE)
• At least 2 years of experience in cleaning within a home, office, or hospital environment
• Good knowledge of basic cleaning practices and hygiene standards
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Dependable, honest, and hardworking
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation

N30,000 – N100,000 per month (competitive, based on experience)
