About the Role
An established educational institution is seeking an experienced Head Teacher to lead and manage nursery and primary school operations. This is a leadership position requiring strategic oversight of academic programmes, staff management, financial administration, and safeguarding protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective processes for the learning and development of pupils
- Manage performance reviews of teachers and other teaching staff within the school community
- Implement safeguarding procedures as required by regulatory authorities
- Manage the school budget for all expenditures including learning materials, salaries, and extracurricular activities
- Arrange and oversee parent-teacher meetings
- Prepare teachers, pupils, and staff members for regulatory inspections
- Provide performance, financial, and improvement reports to the board
- Create a diverse, dynamic, and inclusive environment for teachers and pupils
- Teach classes when required to cover for teacher absences
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed Degree or related field
- Minimum 10 years of robust primary or nursery school teaching and pupil management experience from renowned schools
Essential Requirements
- Knowledge of early learning philosophies and frameworks
- Demonstrated experience managing primary or nursery school pupils
- Self-contained accommodation provided
- Physical interview required
