About the Role
This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. As Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales through strategic relationship-building with prospective clients, fostering new business growth within designated accounts, overseeing a team of sales professionals, and meeting sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure success
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, establish and maintain relationships with key clients, and expand the company's customer base
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
- Build and maintain strong positive business relationships to ensure future sales
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create effective sales campaigns, promotions, and product enhancements
- Conduct market research to stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery
- Perform cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and sales budgets to the management team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (master's degree is advantageous)
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, preferably within industries such as SaaS, insurance, telecommunications, or logistics
- B2B experience is essential
- Demonstrated success in sales management as a B2B, corporate, or enterprise sales manager
- In-depth product knowledge encompassing the company's offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Proficiency in analysing sales data and preparing reports
