Head of Risk & Audit at Strivo Labs

About the Role

Strivo Labs is seeking a senior Head of Risk & Audit with deep financial services experience to lead enterprise risk management, internal audit, and regulatory compliance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Risk Management

• Design and implement enterprise risk management frameworks aligned with financial services regulations
• Identify, assess, and monitor financial, operational, regulatory, and credit risks
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and executive-level risk reporting

Audit & Assurance

• Lead internal audit planning, execution, and reporting
• Assess effectiveness of internal controls and governance structures
• Coordinate regulatory audits, external audits, and compliance reviews

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations and best practices
• Advise executive leadership and the Board on risk exposure and control effectiveness
• Foster a strong risk-aware and compliance-driven culture across the organisation

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years' experience in risk management, internal audit, or compliance within the financial services industry
• Proven experience in regulated environments (banking, fintech, lending, or financial institutions)
• Strong independence, judgement, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and governance capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA, CIA, CISA, CRISC, etc.)
