Head of Operations at Nosak Group

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations for a full-time role based in Lagos. As the Head of Operations, you will oversee and optimize the operational processes of the organization. This role involves strategic planning, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and driving operational excellence across all departments. You will work closely with team leaders to enhance productivity, monitor performance metrics, manage budgets, and implement innovative practices in line with the company's goals.

You will oversee and coordinate the movement of raw materials and delivery of finished products to customers. The role ensures seamless integration of processes from production and distribution to sales and customer delivery, driving efficiency, profitability, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Work closely with the operations team daily to ensure timeliness, efficiency, and compliance with company standards
• Develop and implement operational strategies, systems, and procedures to ensure smooth coordination between production, sales, and customer delivery
• Manage resource allocation to optimize product delivery to customers
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards

Logistics and Supply Chain Management

• Oversee the entire supply chain process, from delivery of procured raw materials to refined product delivery
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of finished products
• Manage inventory control and warehouse operations to minimize waste and stockouts
• Negotiate and manage relationships with sales team, haulage companies, and other service providers

Leadership and Coordination

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate cross-functional teams to enhance performance
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Coordinate effectively with finance, production, and marketing departments

Strategic Planning and Reporting

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics
• Prepare regular reports on operational performance for senior management
