Head of Operations

A leading microfinance bank in Enugu State is seeking a vibrant, innovative, and technology-savvy Head of Operations to join its leadership team. The ideal candidate will be business-oriented, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position and will bring fresh ideas to upgrade and transform operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of daily banking operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Drive innovation by introducing technology-driven solutions to streamline processes and enhance customer experience.

• Oversee branch operations, loan processing, customer service, and back-office functions.

• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and performance standards.

• Lead and mentor operational staff to achieve excellence and accountability.

• Collaborate with senior management to align operations with business growth strategies.

• Ensure effective risk management, internal controls, and compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) guidelines.

• Monitor operational performance metrics and prepare regular reports for executive management.

Required Qualifications: & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certification is an advantage).

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar leadership role within microfinance, commercial banking, or financial services.

• Proven track record of introducing innovative operational solutions and leveraging technology to improve efficiency.

• Strong business acumen with experience in financial management, risk control, and customer service.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under pressure.

• Knowledge of CBN regulations and microfinance banking operations.
