About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Equal Logistics Limited as Head of Internal Audit & Control in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify the financial status and operating procedures, and review all invoices
• Manage and monitor implementation of policies
• Perform preliminary planning of internal audit according to audit plans, report on findings, and make recommendations
• Design risk-based internal audit programmes and apply risk appraisal and management techniques
• Conduct fraud investigations as required

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc., M.Sc., or MBA in Accounting or similar field
• Ten (10) years of cognate experience in the role
• Relevant professional qualifications (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Strong working knowledge of audit and financial accounting systems, software, procedures, policies, rules, and practices
