Position Overview

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role to ensure accurate and timely financial management, reporting, and team oversight aligned with company policies and regulatory standards.

Job Objectives

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in line with company policies, rules, guidelines, and regulatory standards
• Produce management reports accurately and timely
• Generate reports as requested by management for decision-making purposes
• Supervise designated staff

Key Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of Scheme Receivables—amounts due to the organization as licensed Acquirer for domestic and international transactions (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, CUP, and Payattitude)
• Daily monitoring of amounts due from co-acquirers
• Daily monitoring of acquirer obligations to merchants
• Monitor and report daily balances into receivables accounts for settlement from Mastercard Naira, Visa Naira, and various schemes for dollar transactions
• Monitor and report accuracy of debits into settlement accounts in favor of merchants, PTSP, PTO, domestic switches, PTSA, and ATM settlement
• Revenue Assurance: Recover PTSP and TO Income (Receivable) from other settlement agents
• Review Merchant Service Charges (MSC) charged to merchants and clients
• Recompute and assure transactional-based revenues including PTSP, PTO, Switch fees, Processing fees, Acquirer and Acquirer Margin, and other fees charged and collected daily
• Execute monthly invoicing to banks and customers
• Manage receivables collection through settlement via NIBSS and ensure timely execution of contractual agreements
• Provide management with timely and consistently relevant financial information for decision-making and planning purposes
