Hardware Quality Assurance Officer at ICS Outsourcing

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and technically inclined Hardware Quality Assurance Officer to join our client team to ensure all POS terminals and related hardware meet the company's operational and quality standards before deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct functionality testing of POS terminals before packaging and dispatch
• Inspect hardware for physical defects, connectivity issues, and configuration errors
• Validate firmware versions and ensure devices are properly initialized
• Document and report defective hardware for replacement or repair
• Collaborate with technical support and warehouse teams to resolve hardware issues
• Maintain detailed records of quality checks, test results, and inspection logs
• Ensure compliance with internal quality assurance protocols and regulatory requirements
• Recommend improvements to enhance hardware testing efficiency and accuracy

Required Qualifications

• HND/B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 2–3 years' experience in hardware testing, quality control, or technical support (preferably within a financial or POS distribution environment)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with POS device configuration and diagnostics
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
