About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to drive growth and optimize business performance through data-driven insights and strategic analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify Growth Opportunities: Analyze customer behavior across cohorts, segments, markets, and diasporas to uncover opportunities to optimize pricing, increase market share, boost revenue, and launch new products.
- Messaging & Market Strategy: Leverage internal tools to maximize Growth Nudges. Measure messaging and customer engagement and make recommendations to maximize the effectiveness of different communication and marketing strategies.
- Pricing & Experimentation: Design, execute, and evaluate pricing experiments, elasticity analysis, and discounting strategies in collaboration with Revenue and Marketing teams to maximize ROI.
- Onboarding & Funnel Optimization: Partner with Product, Compliance, Engineering, and Ops to analyze funnel performance (Sign Up, Conversion Rates, Deposits, Retention, and Churn) and recommend data-driven actions to improve retention rates.
- New Customer Strategy: Use analytics and statistical modeling to identify high-potential users, then engage them quickly and effectively to accelerate adoption, boost retention, and drive early traction within this group.
- Experimentation & Statistical Implementation: Apply rigorous statistical methods to evaluate initiatives, replicate successes, and refine growth strategies.
- Growth Policy & Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with Leadership and country teams to define growth policies, prioritize initiatives, and execute high-impact actions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business analytics, growth, or product marketing, ideally within fintech, payments, or consumer tech.
- 5+ years of proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization/analytics tools.
- Strong analytical expertise in experimentation and statistical analysis.
Location
This role is based in Lagos, Nigeria and follows a hybrid work arrangement. Candidates must be currently residing in Nigeria and able to collaborate with both local and remote teams.
