Graduate Trainee (Mechanical Engineer) at The Candel FZE

About the Role

We are seeking a Graduate Trainee (Mechanical Engineer) to join our team at The Candel FZE. You will receive comprehensive training across all stages of our production cycles, from research and design through manufacturing, installation, and evaluation. You will report to the factory manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, manufacturing, and installing components that meet specified requirements
• Analyze problems or deficiencies and develop solutions to resolve them
• Participate in conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs
• Create plans and designs using CAD technology
• Estimate budgets and time scopes for each project
• Write technical documentation for machine operators
• Ensure that products meet compliance regulations
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers on the team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering from a Nigerian university with a minimum passing grade of Second Class Honours, Upper Division
• Not more than 28 years old
• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly, both visually and verbally
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards, and relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Working Conditions

May be required to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays, depending on production schedules.
