A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role.
  • Support the filing of statutory and client-related documents under supervision
  • Assist in the preparation of tax computation schedules and tax returns
  • Participate as a junior team member on audit engagements
  • Assist in preparing ledgers and fixed assets schedules
  • Support bank reconciliation exercises with guidance from senior team members
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements using Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
  • Assist in responding to basic tax queries under supervision
  • Learn and apply Nigerian tax laws, regulations, and reporting standards in client engagements
  • Support client relationship management activities and internal documentation
  • Conduct basic research on tax and accounting issues as part of on-the-job training
Qualifications and Experience
  • B.sc/HND Accounting
  • Must be done with NYSC
  • ACA/ACCA /ACIT qualification is a plus
  • Self-starter with minimal need for supervision
  • Robust working knowledge of Nigeria\'s Tax laws is important.
  • Familiarization with IASs/IFRSs very important
  • Good team player
  • Relevant IT skills (working with Accounting Software and Microsoft packages)
  • Candidate must be based in Abuja.
